Indie Rock duo Brother Dynamite, is Shawn Moynihan and Alan Miller. The New York City-based duo have been playing music and writing songs together since high school. Known for their highly melodic style and extensive use of vocal harmonies, the duo have garnered listeners in more than 100 countries and achieved worldwide airplay. 

The duo released a full-length album, "If We Dare" in 2022 that features 12 original songs including performances by bassist Danny Weinkauf of They Might Be Giants on two tracks and artwork by Hugh Syme (RUSH, Dream Theater, Joe Bonamassa, Bon Jovi, etc.). A remastered version of their original holiday song, "It's Christmas Time, Alright!" was released in December 2024.

Also in 2024, they began releasing the first in a series of new singles that have paved the way for an exciting chapter in their career. "What Are You Waiting For?" is a rousing summery-themed track, while second single, "The Girl's In Love" was hailed by New York City's Maker Park Radio as "polished power pop perfection."

2025 saw the release of their well-received singles, the unrelenting rocker "Radio Silence," the introspective "Shine" and the stadium anthem "Get Up." In 2026, they released the power pop earworm, "Violet," and "Your Time Will Come," an unapologetic anthem that meets the moment of today's highly-charged world with unyielding melodies and conviction. Their latest single is "Better," an uplifting horn-infused song of positivity urging the listener to "take a sad, sad song and make it better." It features trumpet and trombone by multi-instrumentalist Jesse Blum who has performed with Twenty One Pilots, Nas and The Jazztronauts. More music is on the way.  

Brother Dynamite perform live as an acoustic duo and can regularly be seen playing at venues around the New York City area.
